My name is João Teixeira and I am a wedding photographer in Porto. I started in the world of wedding photography in Portugal at the age of 18 helping my father, who was also a great wedding photographer for 40 years. With him I learned to have a more personal connection with my clients and decided to open my first photographic studio, JT Estúdios. This have the purpose of serving couples in the best way possible. There we also do other photo sessions, such as newborn photography, maternity photography, children’s photography, etc… Also, in recent years, João Teixeira, my most personal brand, had the opportunity to start working at destination weddings, intimate weddings and precious engagement sessions to photograph. I love traveling and that is why I love receiving loving couples from different corners of the world and exchanging ideas about places, about our cultures, telling their love story to the world and eternalizing their love, their history, the little things. I love capturing the details through my photographs, because I believe that the best way to immortalize our memories is through an image. All of this it’s what inspires me to do what I do!
I’m an observer of small details and that’s why I like to immortalize them. I love landscapes and portraits, and allies with naturalness and spontaneity, the photographs I take at weddings and at the engagement sessions ends up having captivating and emotional results. Nothing makes me more happy than kept captivated by the photos I take of my sweet loving couples because of the spontaneous, the emotion, the joy, the love that transmites me.

I am a lover of singular moments that results in genuine and spontaneous images. As a wedding photographer, on the wedding day it is important that the bride and groom find someone who photographs in a style with which they identify. Above all, the wedding day should be a celebration day, and it is probably that you want with you a photographer who is fun to have around, that makes anyone feel comfortable, to the point that people doesn’t even know who is being photographed, are we sure?
